The Fall of Durnamis

"Master! Look! Durnamis has accepted my gift!" The girl smiles as she held out the glowing crystal of dazzling rainbow colors, always shifting and changing.
"That is well and done.. But you must return to your studies..." An older woman says, her robes of white swaying as she ushers the student into a crystal capsule.
"Yes Master..." The girl frowns as her eyes close and she sleeps within the purple rock.
That was the day the streets ran red. Sirens blared all over the city as the stonework began to crumble and collapse. Citizens screaming and running for their lives, heading towards the base of the temple steps and begging for refuge. They would find no salvation.

September Second, year Thirty,

The days continue, it has been many moons since that fallen day. Still no word from the others who escaped in the pods, though I have found more of the shattered crystals.. Will Durnamis ever be whole again? I doubt highly.. Moros has revealed himself.. Death.. The gift that was given unto Master Stelaria. I feel as though that gift, upon taking her from her life, also stole away what little emotion I could hold. That mocking attitude of his, always muttering about bringing her back. The crystal of life, it will never return, not without lives being lost. Those pawns have defied their leader and are moving on their own marks, trying to check mate an enemy they cannot see from above. Bah! To hell with them! They have made their choice, now I will destroy them like the scourge they are. The planet was torn asunder due to their selfishness, now it is up to me to reform it. I can still hear her voice nagging me, "What of the lives of those here?" To hell with their lives. They have lived eons more then they deserve. They squabble over petty land that should be open to all for everything. Sacrificing a few lives to reform a planet of purity and peace is much more of a deal then to latch myself to these people.
