No'la vs Grant (The Void Versus The Light)

Inspiration: Radioactive In The Dark and Bad Apple

The sky swirled with violent gray clouds. The ground laid barren and still as thunder roared in threat and winds shrieked in rage. Lightning flashed to light the sky briefly, revealing the pair that stood a yard apart. On one end of the clearance was a Ren'dorei. Her void tendril hair flowing in the breeze as her concord robes began to alight with void runes. On the other side of the field was a mere human. His white and gold robes hiding the chainmail underneath and his hand grasped his golden staff. Despite the clouds overhead, the man stood, showered in the Light.

"It's finally time." The man spoke with a gruff voice.

"Only one of us will make it through this." The woman's voice was crisp and easy to understand.

Void began gathering on her off hand, the whispers of the dead screaming along side the wind. The man began channeling powerful light magic into his own hands. Soon the ground began to shake as their powers collide into a huge pillar. Shadow and Light intertwining together and reaching into the eye of the storm.

"There's only room in this world for one of us, Luxford." The woman shouts over the blast, twisting her staff to redirect the void energy to attack at him from multiple sides.

He would backflip out of her strike, channeling the light and sending a large sword of light swinging down at her. A doomguard charges through a portal to catch the blade with his own. Rulpad lets out a maniac cackle as he begins throwing balls of fel fire at the Holy Man. Grant's eyes flashed a change of color before in a blink he was beside her, swinging a blade of light at her torso. In a burst of flames that mixed of Fel and Void, she turned to ash and appeared several feet away.

"Tch. You thought you could catch me off guard like that?" No'la spoke, one eye aglow with void, the other with fel magics.

A smirk fell on his lips as once again he was behind her, "Easily." The blade at her throat.

"Cocky bastard." She engulfed herself in fel flames, causing him to leap away from the fire.

"Now my dear-" He shifts his sword back to a staff, "That was uncalled for."

She turns and shifts to jut out her hip, "Oh it very much was. Don't you remember the rules? Have to take a lady out to dinner first."

He slowly strode towards her, moving to grip her chin between his thumb and index finger. "Were those the rules now? I remember them much differently."

She chuckles softly, her demon's returning to the nether as her eyes dull from their magical high, "Care to rearrange the agreement?"

The two leaned in close to eachother. On the outskirt of the field, Jon was sitting in a tree, eating some popcorn while Moria was leaning against the base of the tree and shaking her head.

"They sure are easily distracted by each other." Moria remarks.

"Was a good show for a bit." Jon muttered between bites of his snack.

"If they start stripping, I'm leaving." Moria rolled her eyes.

"You may want to leave then." Jon lowered his spyglass and moved to slip out of the tree.

Moria sighs and lowers her head. "Why is this guild full of horny casters?"

"They take after you." Jon chuckles.

Moria slaps his arm and the duo wander off.
